A Short Visit

Last Saturday I went to Bandung and had time to visit my crafter friends who took part in Craft Bazaar at Crayon's Craft & Co.


Well okay, ofcourse I also shop there :D

Here's some Scented Sachets from Sawo Kecik, now inside my boys' drawer. 

And cute owl hangings for my boys' bedroom glass door, from Papayamango.

Also some owl hanging mobile from Mochie2Felt, pouch from ammi&abi and cushion covers from Myurbey.


I also met Dita from Cemprut and Intan from intaNotes (^_^) too bad I can't stay long enough to meet the other crafters.. hopefully there'll be another time :)

The fabric for the wallet was from my own collection, I really like the guitar motives. As for the buttons, I plan to make them onto some cute stuff for my kids as they're big fans of Angry Birds :D

I've spent these last couple of weeks in Jakarta only to commute between hospital and home.. so much for a fun year end holiday. Began with my hubby and his chronic laryngitis, then my son's high fever, then me, my mother, now it's my other son who has a high fever. Hopefully everything will fall to it's place.. soon, insha Allah.

Happy Teacher's Day!

Teacher's Day in Spore is on September 1, where it's school holiday and the celebrations usually conducted the day before, which means tomorrow and I still haven't made any appreciation gift for my kids' teachers.

I did made some Teacher's Day reversible bags and pouches, but those are customized orders. I even forgot to take a picture of the pouches before I sent them to their owners.

For the bags I used mostly colorful Batik and Tenun Troso (handwoven fabric).

Now if could just whip up a simple yet pretty gift for my kids' teachers to be given tomorrow..
