more from my sewing room
Actually there's not much left to see in this small room.. but hey one can only try to make it look and function better.
So, here at the day bed side I put some wall decal for that punch to the plain white wall and a string to hang my finished products. And that's about it.. for now :D

Sneak Peek: New Nest
Now as my new home's starting to take shape and the boys are doing pretty well in their first 2 weeks of Primary School, so I guess it's time to update this blog :D
Since I'm not done unpacking my sewing materials, instead here's a sneak peak of my new living room.
This is the so called foyer with lots of shoes storage!

We live on the 3rd floor, though we don't get breathtaking view as those penthouse units yet we're quite happy with all the greeneries view from the surrounding trees. And the natural lighting is oh so pretty.

The sofa (as well as the dining table set) is from IKEA.

I chose dark color finishing like black and walnut for our furnitures to match and balance the existing walls and built-ins. Not to mention dark colors are easier to maintain, especially if you have small kids along with their crayons and such..

inaku Label Trial
i n a k u
yup, that's my handmade suppose-to-be-label name.
Found this tutorial for a quick label some time ago, and I tried to handwrite using permanent fabric marker instead of print on transfer paper (read: I don't have ink transfer paper).
... hmm not a pretty sight :p
really should consider about purchasing those transfer papers!

Purple Runner
This purple runner has a simple, clean yet tailored look, thanks to the repetitive lines from the pintucks.
What's more, it's reversible for an even wearing. One side embellished with pops of embroidery in purple shades, and the other side is plain purple for a more neutral look, both sides with pintucks.
Item: Table Runner
Measurements: 35cm x 115cm
Material: Cotton Fabric
Color: Purple

Sneak Peek : more custom designed cushion covers ..

This one is for my friend in Bali, Indonesia, who needs some covers for her floor cushions.
As her favourite color is purple - and I happen to have loads of fabric in that color - so I made her cushion cover from purple IKEA fabric combined with Tenun Troso fabric in purple shades rainbow.
Then I added a dash of orange color in the form of buttons to complement the purple color as well as it matches the color in the Tenun Troso's rainbow pattern.

Sneak Peek : Custom Design In Progress
Here's a sneak peek of some cushion covers I designed for my friend, with swirls of grape leaves application. Still in progress, they will come with coordinated curtains and vitrage as well.
