a new scarf for me!

A few days ago I received a package from Malaysia, it's from Scarf Sweethoney! Yay!
I won their Pashmina Anya in a recent giveaway held by Fashioning Faith.

LOVE the color! The fabric has a slight stretch on it, making it easy to put on and looked effortless stylish. The pashmina is quite large, I was able to wear it as a headscarf without wearing an inner yet it stay still on my head without any unwanted sight of hair.

a vintage dress

My mother sewed this dress for herself long time ago, with fabric from her late sister in law. 

I found this vintage dress hidden in the depth of her wardrobe and tried it on.. turned out it fits perfectly on me!
It just need a little adjustment, I shortened the hem a bit and re-attached the zipper and voila.. a vintage dress for me! ^^

I hijack a corner in the living room with the sewing machine on the coffee table and me sitting on the step stool. No wonder I've been having back pain lately..
