Laundry Room Makeover

My laundry room is a semi outdoor small space measured 2.5 x 2 m, where we do the laundry (obviously), drying (we line dry all of our clothes), ironing and we also put open shelving at the corner of the room for storage, since we don't have a storage room.

Before

Not so pretty right? It's so cluttered! I'm so glad when I finally could reorganized the space. Not a major makeover apparently, but I'm quite happy with the result.

 After

Voila! Mainly we set-up new ironing station, bought boxes for sorted small storage and change the room layout a bit by moving the laundry bag and the towel hanger, so there are more free floor space now.

Where do I line dry the clothes? Well, I attached the clothes lines at the ceiling (which use transparent roofing). That explained the hanging clothes you see in the above picture.

The ironing station itself is not exactly made for the purpose. It's actually kitchen furniture, but we thought it'll work perfectly in our laundry room. And we're right about it :D

We put a small folding ironing board on the table top each time needed for ironing and conveniently hang it when finished.

We also re-purposed a kitchen trolley to a temporary storage for the warm, freshly ironed clothes.

There you have it. Hopefully this arrangement will keep the clutter away :)
